Charles L. (Chuck) Trautwein, 97, of Houston/Crockett went to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 3, 2011. Mr. Trautwein was born on February 2, 1914, in Dubuque, Iowa. He was a well known piano and accordion musician in his early days.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Trautwein and son, Wayne Trautwein.
He is survived by his daughters, Shirley Land and husband, Harold; and Ruth Henderson; daughter-in-law, Anne Trautwein; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.
Viewing and visitation with family will be held Monday, February 7, 2011, at Huntsville Funeral Home(936-295-6363) from 5-7 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at Huntsville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mitchell White officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Memorial Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
