Vernon "Buddy" Johnston

Buddy Johnston of Hazel Green passed away April 21, 2018 at the age of 71 at home surrounded by his loving family. He served in Vietnam and was retired from Chrysler. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Lee Johnston, Sr. and his mother, Marie Daniel Johnston. Survivors include: Nancy Moore Johnston, wife of 43 years; son, Daniel Lee Johnston (Lauren); sisters, Pat Johnston Lynch of Orange Beach, Mary Jane Johnston Buck (Mike) of Hazel Green and Theresia Johnston Mullen (John) of Orange Beach. He has several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clearview Cancer Institute, 1 Hospital Dr, SW Huntsville, Al 35801

Pallbearers: Mike C. Buck, Johnny Mullen, Roy Allen Jenkins, Shane Johnson, Daniel Fowler and Ricky Moore.

Visitation will be Monday, April 23, 2018 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. A private family graveside service will follow the visitation.
