Melvin James Beck, 85, of Huntsville, AL passed away peacefully on August 2, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Garnett and Pearlie May Beck; late wife, Nola Mae Beck.
Mr. Beck is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beck; daughters, Pam Lee, Cynthia Short and Louise Stocks; sons, Jim Beck, Kyle Bowman, Reuben O. Bowman; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Melvin was a long time member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Hazel Green, AL. and was an ordained preacher. He was a member of the National Guard as a cook.
