Lawrence Vernon Green 86, of Huntsville passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016. Mr. Green is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ethel M. Green.
Vernon is survived by his son, Hugh S. Green (Debbie); 2 daughters, Jeannie M. Green and Connie J. Brand (Gary); 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mr. Green was a lifelong resident of Huntsville. He was a 1947 graduate of Riverton High School. He was a member of the Army Corp of Engineers in the early 1950s. He was a machinist at Thiokol Corp and retired there after 37 years.
