Kevin Daniel Rose

Kevin Daniel Rose, age 45, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. Kevin graduated from Grissom High School in 1996, attended the University of North Alabama (Pi Kappa Alpha) and quickly fell in love with Page Ferrell. Page and Kevin married in 1999. Kevin inherited a keen sense of people and business from his Grandfather, Joe Reeves. It was natural then that Kevin took quickly to Page's father, Jones Ferrell (husband of Rhett), and hit the accelerator speeding into the car business.

Knowing his life served a greater purpose than just making money, Kevin was hired on to the Huntsville Fire Department in the early 2000s, and legend has it that, to this day, Rookie Training still bears the evidence of Kevin's time there. Kevin was a rescuer at heart and lived that calling until his last breath. Within the Huntsville Fire Department, he served in several capacities, finally as a driver until retiring for medical reasons.

Even after serving as a public first responder, Kevin continued to serve, responding with help and support to those around him. Kevin invested his time and energy into youth sports, coaching his boys from the sidelines while ensuring every boy on the team had their emotional and physical needs met. Kevin and Page worked with youth through their church by helping with trips and events. Kevin also re-found a great love in business over the last eight months, serving to help his best friend, Charlie.

It can be fully and confidently said that Kevin's last days of life were spent doing what he loved, where he loved being, alongside the people he loved, especially his precious grandson.

Kevin is survived by a forever brotherhood from the Huntsville Fire Department, his wife Page, children Tate, Jones, and Trigg, and grandson Brixton. He is also survived by his parents, Gordon and Jane Rose, brother Bryan Rose (Kelly), and family on both sides who loved him the moment they met him.

Visitation for Kevin will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Whitesburg Baptist Church, 6806 Whitesburg Dr, Huntsville, AL, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 PM.
