Jewell loved her family, was an avid reader, enjoyed talking with family and friends on the phone. She was also a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
Jewell is survived by her children Judy Kennemer (Jimmy), Tina Vickers, Timothy Scott Whitt (Dorette), and Lisa Lindsey (Terry); grandchildren Jason Kennemer (Jessica), Kimberly Silva (Jorge), Casie Harris (Richard), Ashley Whitt; great grandchildren Drake and Darrelyn McDevitt, Jake and Lincoln Kennemer and Ella Harris; and extended family.
She is preceded by her parents Willie, Annie Mae Holder; and granddaughter Amanda McDevitt.
A visitation for Jewell will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
