James J. Dean, 88, passed away peacefully at his residence early Saturday morning, with his loving family by his side. Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, James Jackson Dean, Sr., and Pearl Simmons Dean; and his son, James Jackson Dean, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife and companion of over 50 years, Pearl Ray ; his son, Randie L. Dean and his wife Tamara; 4 daughters, Charlotte Miller of Valhermoso Springs, AL, Debra Turner and husband Jimmy of Frankewing,TN, Gail Ragland of Huntsville, Brenda Little and husband Jimmy of Fayetteville, TN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends.

James loved life and family and all things beautiful. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. James Jackson Dean was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

You may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. There will be a funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM in Valhalla’s chapel.
