of the late Willie Grover Williams and Sarah Belle Parker Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 64 years, Mary Elizabeth Sommer Williams.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Gary L. and his sons, Scott and Ryan (Hillary) and their daughter, Lily, Ken R. (Teri), Dennis N. (Joyce) and their sons, Christopher and Eric and his daughter Claire and many treasured nieces and nephews.
During WWII, he served in the Army Air Corp as a Staff Sergeant primarily stationed in Newfoundland, Canada. After the war
he worked at Jefferson Proving Ground in Madison, IN, where he met and married his wife, Mary. He graduated from Hanover
College in 1950. In 1958, his family moved to Huntsville, AL where he worked on various missile programs as a system analyst at
Redstone Arsenal retiring in 1982.
He was an avid fisherman, gardener and flea market enthusiast who enjoyed the camaraderie of his family, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2016, at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church from 9:30 – 11:00, followed immediately by the
Rosary, with the Mass at 11:30. Graveside services for the immediate family will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers,
