HELEN ROBBINS BRYAN June 20, 1929 – November 22, 2014 Helen Robbins Bryan, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Mandeville, LA, but was a long time resident of Huntsville, AL. Ms. Bryan was preceded in death by her husband, Farrell Andrew Bryan. Ms. Bryan is survived by her daughter, Myra Besancon and husband Danny; and her son, Tolbert Bryan and future spouse Elaine Goode; 2 grandchildren, Anthony Brocato and spouse Amanda Brocato, and Kimberly Hamilton; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jacob Hamilton. Helen was a military wife and traveled the world with Farrell, her husband of over 50 years. She loved family being together and her pet, especially “Bonnie” her rat terrier dog. Helen was one of the founding members of Weatherly Road Assembly of God Church, and served as their secretary and treasurer in the early days of the church. She started her own retail business in women’s clothing later in her life and transformed the business into one of Huntsville’s premier formal attire shops, and was well known for dressing people formally for special events and weddings! You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. There will be a funeral service conducted by Pastor Al Geise commencing at 1:00 pm in Valhalla’s chapel. The interment will immediately follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
