Harvel Lavern Neyman, age 86, of Madison, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. His visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Madison Church of the Nazarene, 8234 Old Madison Pike, Madison, AL, followed by the celebration of life service at 1:00 PM. Lavern will be laid to rest at Faith Memorial Park in Madison, AL.
Lavern married the love of his life, Ruth, July 24th 1957. He started his Plumbing career working for his father-in-law, DZ Roach, who owned Magic City Plumbing in Birmingham, AL. He moved to Madison, AL in 1963 plumbing for different companies. In 1977, he started Chubby’s Plumbing Co which is still flourishing today. He was a lifelong member of the Madison Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Eula Neyman, and sisters Christine Brown and Corriene Faulker. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, brothers Dexter (wife Norma), Tommy Joe (wife Shirley), son Danny (wife Nancy), daughter Sharon (husband Danny), son Darryl (wife Leighan) and son Duston, along with 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
