Gary Wayne Glenn

June 23, 1961 – January 31, 2015

Gary Wayne Glenn, 53, passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Saturday, January 31, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, William R. and Erma L. Glenn.

Mr. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Joyce Glenn; his daughter, Jennifer Johnson (Wayne); Mother-in-law, Joanna Newcomb; 1 brother, Ronnie Glenn (Sharla); 3 sisters, Barbara Rasnake (Bill), Pat Larson (Mike), and Carol Poole (Terry); 3 grandchildren, Skylar and Autumn Sullivan and Memrie Johnson; some nieces and nephews and a host of other friends.

Gary was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge and also liked playing golf. He was a great musician and played drums with the “Nite Lite” Band. Gary loved playing with the kids and grandkids and telling them stories and making jokes and unusual sounds for them. Gary Glenn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many!

You may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Valhalla Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a funeral service conducted by Bro. Larry Billiter on Thursday, February 5, 2015 commencing at 11:00 AM in Valhalla’s chapel. The entombment will immediately follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
