Cherita Lynn Jordan, 54, of Laceys Spring, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Huntsville Hospital. Cherita is survived by her husband, Junior Jordan; daughter, Michelle L. Jordan, of Laceys Spring; son, Michael Lee (Olivia) Jordan, Hazel Green; mother, Carolyn McCormick, Huntsville; sister, Judy (Larry) Bevis, Florence; Father-in-law, Tommy Jordan, Gurley; brother, Frank (Brenda) Clemons, Gurley; niece, Tammy Lynn (Jamie) Underwood; 3 nephews, Daniel, Chris and Jonathan Jordan. Also, grandchildren, Nichole Jordan, Michael Jordan, Addison Jordan, Myles Jordan and Alayna Jordan. Cherita was preceded in death by her father, Frank Clemons; her sister, Lisa Johnson; her nephew, Larry Bevis and her mother-in-law, Laura Faye Jordan. Cherita was a former employee of Lowes in Huntsville, a loving wife, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved Alabama Football, Huntsville Speedway, her favorite drivers were Junior and Michael Jordan. There will be a visitation at Valhalla Funeral Home, Monday, January 30, 6-8pm, with a service, Tuesday, January 31 at 2pm in Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with brother Al Phillips officiating.
