Charles Dewey Tumlin age 80 formally of Huntsville, Al. Passed away at Huntsville Hospital January 19, 2021. Celebration of Life Service will be at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel Sunday at 1 pm with a graveside service to follow. The family will receive vistors at 12 noon for visitation and viewing. Charles was born July 03, 1940 to Mae West and Daniel Monroe Tumlin. He Loved to hunt, fish and Alabama Football. He is proceeded in death by his mother, father and Beloved Wife Carolyn Ann Tumlin, sons Charles Jr, Danny Emerson, daughter Melissa Bates, brothers Zollie and Jewel, sisters Ivanell Riddle and Carolyn. Grandson Buckey Bates. Charles was blessed with children to remember him Carol Daugette ( Fred) Mae Nichols( Danny) Rhonda Hatch, Tracy Kelly ( Jesse) Lee Henderson( James) Kelly Schmitt( Shawn) Brother Richard Tumlin, Sisters Betty Jo Black and Penny Griggs Peoples and countless others.
