Ret. SFC Bobby R. Mitchell, 89 of Huntsville, AL passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016. Mr. Mitchell was in the US Army, serving from 1944 until his retirement in 1974. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ethel Mitchell; son, Stefan Mitchell; Grandson, Jake Foshee; three brothers; one sister.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Hildegard Mitchell; daughters, Ursula (Sam) Martin, Rita Foshee, Linda (Rod) Bigler; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, April 11, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:45pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Graveside services, with full military honors will follow at 3:00pm at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Please sign the guest registry at www.valhallafunerals.com.
