JOAQUIM MARQUES SECO August 9, 1934 – October 10, 2017 Joaquim M. Seco, 83, passed away peacefully at his residence, early Tuesday morning with his loving family by his side. “Jack” as most people knew him, was born in Coimbra, Portugal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Anna Marques Seco; two brothers; and a sister. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of over 56 years, Maria Cordeiro Seco; three daughters, Wendy (Daniel) Carbone, Florbela Seco, both of Huntsville, AL and Lorina (Gregory) Webster of CA; a sister, Victoria Seco, in Portugal; 8 Grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends. Jack Seco was a loving and kind man who enjoyed life, family, and all things beautiful. He was a Machinist most of his working life and loved working with his hands. Joaquim Seco was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all! You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a funeral service at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness Church, 2820 Winchester Road NW, Huntsville, AL on Friday, October 13, 2017, commencing at 12:00 Noon.
