Robert H. Tice, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Holland Tice Jr. 83 of Huntington passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Bob was a graduate of Conestoga High School in Pennsylvania. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology from Penn State University. Bob’s love of animals led him to work for the Philadelphia Zoo. Later in life he worked as an Owner/Operator for North American Van Lines for 10 years and as a maintenance man for Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Roanoke. Bob was a “Road Racer” and was known for his Corvette the “Blue Moose”. Lastly, Bob was an avid train collector and enthusiast. Bob was born on August 25, 1939 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Robert H. and Constance R. (Fox) Tice. He was united in marriage to the Sharon Montz on September 26, 1981 in Fort Wayne. His wife survives Additional survivors include seven nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kathleen Davison Visitation will take place on Thursday July 6, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Roanoke Indiana. Located at 3416 E. 900 N. Roanoke IN 46783. Funeral services will take place on Friday July 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of calling prior to the service at the Faith Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Haven.
