Georgia M. Williams, 81 of Huntington passed away at 3:58 am on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Georgia was a 1952 graduate of Lancaster Township High School. She had worked at West Studio and in the office of the Caswell Runyan Factory both in Huntington. She later worked at Memcor, for 41 years until her retirement, at the time the factory closed in 1998. During much of this time, she supervised and assisted other workers, as she had learned all the jobs performed in her unit. She always had a special love for children and babysat for many children, in her own family, her extended family, her church and her community. When she wasn’t babysitting, she enjoyed her doll collection. Most important in her life was her love and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and following God’s will for her life. She was a lifetime member of Loon Creek Church of the Brethren in Huntington County.
Georgia was born on August 1, 1934 in Huntington County, the daughter of Ernest and Rosella (Boyer) Lahr.
She was united in marriage to Jay E. Williams on April 9, 1976 in Huntington County. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1997.

Vogleman of Roanoke; two sisters: Alberta Mae Fulton of Warren; Marilyn D. Geist of West Lafayette; a brother: Verl E. Lahr of North Manchester and four grandchildren: Brandon Riggan, Brooke (James) Guerrier, Matthew (Kiah) Vogleman and Issiah Vogleman.
