Darlene M. Berry, 67 of rural Huntington, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at her residence. Darlene had served the Sisters of Victory Knoll in the kitchen for over 20 years. She was a 1974 graduate of Huntington North High school. Darlene was a member of the First Brethren Church in Huntington and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #83 in Huntington. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, old classic movies and all things “Lucille Ball”. Darlene was a collector of many things and loved the outdoors with the sun on her face.
Darlene was born on December 28, 1955 in Muncie, IN a daughter of George and Marjorie Deeds Brannon.
Survivors include two sons: Kirby Berry and Kasey Berry both of Fort Wayne; a daughter: Kelli (Danielle) DeLaGrange of Huntington; her mother: Marge Brannon of Huntington and two grandchildren: Xavier and Nova Berry.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Judy Brannon.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.
Private family interment will take place in the Gardens of Memory cemetery in rural Huntington County.
