Billy D. "Coop" Cooper

Billy D. “Coop” Cooper, 44 of Huntington passed away at his residence on October 22, 2022. Billy was a 1996 graduate of HNHS. He worked at Isolatek in Huntington for several years. Billy was an avid disc golfer and was involved in many disc golf leagues throughout Indiana. He enjoyed bowling and loved the Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Cubs. Also, many activities he was involved with “The Hogs”. Billy was born on May 25, 1978 in Fort Wayne, the son of Dick Reed and Mary Cooper. He was raised by his grandparents, Dick and Carolyn Allen. He was united in marriage to Jenni Houser on June 4, 2005 in Huntington. Jenni survives. Additional survivors include three children: Quentin Cooper, Madeline Cooper and Landon Cooper all of Huntington; mother: Mary (Rick) Denman of Huntington; stepmother: Tina Bradley of Huntington; two sisters: Tabitha (Shaun Burget) Redding of Fort Wayne, Sommer (Jermaine) Nelson of Fort Wayne; a brother: Josh (Sarah) Snow of Roanoke; grandmother: Carolyn Allen of Huntington; in-laws: Pam and Don Houser and Jill and Jon Gerke; several stepsiblings; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He loved his entire family tremendously. He was preceded in death by his father: Dick Reed; grandfather: Dick Allen; grandmother: Joan Davis and brother-in-law: Jared Houser. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 following visitation at 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Interment will be at the Broxon Cemetery in Laud, Indiana.
