Joanne was born on November 23, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to parents, Howard A. Brown and Marie T. (nee Hayes). She graduated from Kensington High School. Joanne went on to establish a career as a supervisor, working for the Internal Revenue Service for over 40 years.
Joanne was a proud member of the Maternity BVM Seniors Club, a fan of the lasagna-loving cat, Garfield, and a passionate collector of Jim Shore figurines.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Marie, brother John Brown (Ann), and sister Margaret McGregor (Gerald).
Joanne is survived by her husband, Jerry, son, Jeffrey, brother, Edward Brown (Clara), and nieces and nephews.
A public visitation for Joanne will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006, followed by the funeral service at 12:30 PM. The burial will then be at 1:30 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
