Eugenia "Jean" Marie Roth

Eugenia Roth, affectionately known as Jean, passed away peacefully on January 14, leaving a legacy adorned with love, creativity, and an enduring sense of elegance. Born on September 4, 1941, in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania, to her parents Sam and Lois Caseino, Jean's journey was a tapestry of love and artistry.

Jean was the heart of her family, a devoted wife to Gerry, and a cherished mother to her three daughters, Gabrielle (Massimo), Andrea (Rob), and Stephanie (Greg) who embody the values of love, determination, and grace that she instilled within her family. Her role as a beloved grandmother to Isabella, Nicholas, Enzo, Matteo, Chelsea, and Zachary brought immeasurable joy to her life. Jean's bond with her siblings Roberta, Sandy (Bill), Sam (Evon), and Debbie held a special place of deep and heartfelt significance, creating a close-knit family unit.

Married on November 23, 1967, Jean and Gerry embarked on a remarkable journey, spanning the country to reside in 12 different cities —from Albany, New York to Columbus, Ohio to Des Moines, Iowa to Bennington, Vermont, and finally, Alpharetta, Georgia.

Jean was a true pioneer among women as a do-it-yourself individual. Renowned for her extraordinary ability to create, mend, and innovate, her independence and creative flair were sources of inspiration not only to her family, but also to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Her life's journey, shared with Gerry over five decades, was punctuated by her incredible talent in interior design. Each home they lived in reflected her ability to create beauty, style and warmth. Her gatherings were memorable, and her dinner parties, eagerly anticipated, showcased her culinary expertise and sophisticated ambiance. Jean's talents as an accomplished chef, designer, artist, wife, and mother made each chapter of their life together rich and fulfilling.

Beyond the confines of her home, Jean's creativity left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. Her love story with Gerry stood as a testament to their enduring love and her remarkable life together.

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:30AM - 11:00AM at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM and the interment at Forest Hills Cemetery at 12:00PM.
