As a longtime resident of Philadelphia, David was born on March 30, 1955 to parents Frederick H. Braun and Katherine A. Braun. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1972. He continued his education, graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Bachelor of the Arts. David went on to establish a career as a Claims Adjustor for the State of Pennsylvania and then on to work for the Internal Revenue Service for the United States Government.
David was a long time Mason. He enjoyed all Trivia information, watching old movies and attending Kiss Concerts as he was an avid fan. He was a loving father dedicated to his family.
David was preceded in death by his father, Frederick H. Braun.
David is survived by his two daughters Stacey and Kimberly Braun, his mother Katherine Gould, and sister Karen Strange.
A graveside service for David will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
