William Thomas “Bill” Keck passed into the loving judgment of his merciful Savior on November 22, 2022 at 87 years of age surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Leona, and their children John, James, and Helena. He has two living siblings, Patricia Lanzi and Linda Anderson.
Bill was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Calvert Hall College High School. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War, after which he graduated from Loyola University, Maryland with a bachelor's degree in history. He worked as a special agent for US Customs. That job moved him and his family to Houston, Texas in the early 1970s. After retiring from Customs, he worked as a background investigator.
Bill jogged daily, was handy around the house, and raised vegetables in the backyard, becoming certified as a Master Gardener. He enjoyed science fiction and horror novels, movies, and television shows, as well as watching professional football. He was a life-long committed Catholic Christian and faithful husband, having been married to his only wife Leona for 52 years at his death. He was known for his affability and his dry, sometimes silly sense of humor.
