Henry Warren Langston, Jr. was born September 20, 1947 to Henry Warren Langston Sr. and Madie Belle Moore in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He departed this life on April 17, 2016. "Brother", as he was lovingly called, was more than a brother, husband, father, and uncle--he was a friend.
In 1967 he served in the Army for a short while. He later moved to Texas in 1977. From 1977 until he became ill in 2014, he was an avid self-employed contractor, who took pride in his work which he loved. In 1983 he married Zula Wells and from that union two children were born, Ebony and Henry, Jr.
In 1999, he professed and accepted Christ as his personal Savior witnessed by his sister Joan and his friend, Glenn Finley.
Brother was preceded in death by his Father, Henry Warren Langston, Sr., Mother, Madie B. Langston, Sisters, Evelyn Oduber, June Keiser, Susie Coote, and brothers Frank Langston and Richard D. Langston.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children—daughter, Ebony M. Sutton (Phillip) Frisco, TX; son, Henry W. Langston, Jr.( Krystal) Conroe, TX, and their mother Zula Langston, Spring, TX; daughter, Tuesday Cole (Ronnie), Houston, TX; son, Brandon Johnson, New Haven CT; son, Herman Holloway and five grandchildren; five sisters Joan Christopher, Spring TX, Margaret Jackson, Bridgeport, CT; Sandra Langston and Wendy Walls (ML) Birmingham AL, and Marcia Dina, Macon, GA, and a host of relatives and friends.
