Helen Louise Peacock

Born I Houston, Texas. Graduated from Jeff Davis High School. Married in 1952 to Donald Peacock, they were married for 60 years and had two children, Gayle and Donny.

Helen was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and served faithfully in many areas.

When Donald retired, they moved to Galveston and then to Kerrville, Centerville and finally to Willis to be near doctors because of failing health. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Donald, mother and father, Ellen and Floyd Dent and stepdad Brady. Brothers and sisters, Jenny Hartwell, Doris Travis, Fred Dent, Bud Dent, Bill Dent and beloved niece Kathy Reed.

She is survived by her daughter Gayle Scardino and husband David, Son Donny Peacock and wife Gina. Grandchildren Derek Scardino and wife Lindsey and Colby Scardino. Great Grandchildren Huntley Scardino, Zella Grace Scardino, Beau Scardino and Rex Scardino, and nieces and nephews.

Helens greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and being able to help keep the great grandchildren until they were all school age.

She was the very best mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life for Helen will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Oakridge Baptist Church, 500 E Oak Hill Dr, Spring, TX 77386.
