Enrique was born April 16, 1955 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico to Jesus Lopez and Baudelia Vallejo. As a young man he spent 14 years working at a local hardware store in Allende. Shortly after, he began his career with Autobuses Anahuac where he rose to the position of General Manager. In 1991, after moving to Houston, Texas he began working for Wilbert Vaults of Houston where he spent 25 years as a Driver. He was an avid sports fan. You could often find him rooting for futbol club Tigres...or anyone who played against club America. He also loved fishing and baseball. His favorite teams were the LA Dodgers and the Houston Astros. His favorite player was El Toro, Fernando Valenzuela.
He was a beloved father and grandfather. Family was of upmost importance. Additionally, he had a work ethic like no other. He will be missed greatly by family and friends who had the honor of knowing him.
Enrique is survived by his spouse, Florentina Lopez, and sons Luis Enrique, Jorge Alberto, Jesus Fernando, and Humberto Javier, as well as his daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren.
Enrique was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Lopez.
A memorial service for Enrique will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, Texas 77068.
