Ed Dale Lindley born June 4,1978 in Iowa City, Iowa and passed away in the Houston, Texas area on October 6, 2024 at the age of 46. He was the beloved son of Gary and Hilda Lindley primarily from Kingwood, Texas who now reside in Provo, Utah.
Ed is survived by his devoted wife, Denisse Galindo and their 2 year old daughter, Eleana. Ed is also survived by daughters, Rachel, Lauren, Isabella, and Amy. Ed continues to be loved by his 6 siblings Sophia, Julie, Trisha, Ben, Tim and Mark who reside throughout the country with their families. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and beloved cousins.
Ed enjoyed cheering on NBA superstars the Rockets and is a baseball lover of the Astros. He enjoyed traveling and spending a year abroad in Spain as a teenager. While he lived in many places, his love of Houston, Texas remained strong. Ed also had a love for airplanes and flying. He always loved a good meal at any restaurant or home and enjoyed getting to know people wherever he went. We will miss his charisma and curiosity for life.
After a 6 month battle with Stage 4 Adrenal cancer, Ed passed with loved ones at his side. He is a believer of the many prayers offered and the outreach of love on his behalf. Ed wanted to express his gratitude for prayer and love.
A viewing will be held at 10am followed by a Memorial service on Saturday, October 12th at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building in Porter, Texas (22110 Northpark Drive). This will be followed by a graveside service at Calvary Hill Cemetery (21723 Aldine Westfield, Humble).
