Candace grew up in Acres Home and attended HISD schools primarily Hogg Middle School and Reagan High School. Always enrolled in Magnet programs, she was outstanding in academics and earned many notable awards. As a leader, Candace held many offices both academic and extracurricular.
Baptized at an early age, Candace attended Greater New Hope Baptist Church (Acres Home). Later, she was a member of Lakewood Church where she participated in choir.
Candace is preceded in rest by her father, David W. Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Ayomide Ayodele, two children Zachary and Jewel Wade (Texas) (resides with parents Kweku Reginald Wade and Ekpedema Wade, M.D.). Stepfather, Benny Cloud (Texas), Mother, Marcia Wade Gaston (North Carolina). Dearly beloved siblings, Carl Vinson Neyland II, and Sabrina Renee Cloud. She is also treasured by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and extended family and friends.
