Ronald Glen Cooper Sr. 71 years old of Turlock, CA passed away at home peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Ronald was born on November 5, 1946 in Welty, OK in his family home. His family moved to California and he grew up in Riverbank with his parents John and Lola Cooper and his 5 siblings; Jerry Cooper, Melba Johnson, Brenda Poole, Kathy Looney, and Sharon Manuel.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gloria Nancy Cooper, his two sons Ronald Cooper Jr. and Stephen Cooper (Leshia Cooper) and daughter Brandi Steadman (Tim Steadman), 5 grandchildren; Alexis Steadman-Miller, Ronald (Trey) Cooper III, Kelsey Cooper, Jacob Cooper, Zachary Steadman, and 1 great-granddaughter Hailey Miller.
Ronald was a truck driver for over 40 years working for Foster Farms and Billy Grissom Fertilization before retiring. Ronald’s extreme love for his wife, kids, and grandchildren was unconditional and obvious to all who knew him. During Ronald’s retirement years, he took tremendous joy in watching his grandchildren compete in a variety of sporting events. Ronald was the #1 fan of each and every one of his grandchildren while never missing a single event. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino with his wife. He will be loved, missed, and cherished for eternity.
