Noel Terry Borden

Noel Terry Borden May 17, 1943 - Oct 23, 2016 Noel "Terry" Borden, 73 yrs. old, born May 17, 1943 in Kokomo, Indiana was a life long resident of Ceres, CA for 40 years and recently moved to Modesto Ca. Noel, also known to many as Terry went to Heaven to join our Lord at 8:30 am on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Terry is preceded in death by his father, Andy Borden, his mother, Grace Borden both from Indiana, along with his 2 step sons, Darrel Linder and Chuck Linder, both from Modesto and last but not least his dog Sparky. Terry's passing was peaceful, he was at home with his family, holding his wife's hand, his soul mate, survivor Dortha Lee Borden, of Modesto, Ca. He is also survived by his children Noel T. Borden of Truckee, CA, Sam H. Borden, of Ceres, CA, his daughter Dana Risvold of Moor Park, CA, step daughters Deborah Freeman of Oklahoma, Terrie McClelland of Modesto, CA, and Jeri Miller of Ripon, Ca. Sibling's Bently Borden and Linda Vanmetter, both of Indiana. Terry had a very large family and is survived by his sixty plus grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great great-great grandchildren, along with his extended Borden & Sons family and his Triangle Truck Center family. Terry worked hard for his family his entire life, manufacturing trailers, rebuilding trucks, transporting mobile homes, modular school buildings, and fiberglass swimming pools all over the state of California and various states throughout the country for 40 yrs. while owning and operating his company Borden & Sons Crane and Rigging out of Ceres. Ca. Terry enjoyed working hard and raising his family, he often sponsored his sons baseball teams and was at every practice and every game, he also loved roller-skating with his Roller King family and taking his sons U.S. Junior Olympics. Terry enjoyed riding the railroad with his dog Sparky and his friends from NAROA. Terry has traveled many miles across the country and was known to the family as out "Compass of Life" ,he could give directions to any state highway at a moments notice. Terry enjoyed watching the races and his favorite racecar driver of all time Ernie Ervin and watched many races with Kevin Harvick most recently.
