Our beloved mother and grandmother Mary E. Kilgore, 88, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in Modesto, CA. Mary was a woman of deep faith and a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. “An angel on earth, now an angel in Heaven.”
Mary graduated from Bokoshe High School in Oklahoma where she was school Valedictorian. She worked for over 36 years at Contadina Foods in Riverbank. She was highly respected as Head of Personnel and remembered by many for providing them their first job. She was known for her professionalism, compassion and exceptional work ethic. After she retired, she volunteered and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by sons Steve Kilgore of Oregon, Tracy and Bobby Jr. Kilgore of Modesto, daughter Vicki and husband Alberto Valenzuela of Modesto, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, who she absolutely loved.
She was predeceased by her husband Bobby Kilgore and son Lynn Kilgore, and sister Martha Puckett, brothers Charlie (Jim) and John Bryant.
Funeral service will be September 27, 2022
