John Rodriguez Jr. 56 of Modesto California passed away on April 14, 2018. John was born in San Jose California on September 7, 1961 to John Rodriguez Sr. and Josie Rodriguez. John worked as an Aerospace Inspector/Tech for 25 years from the Bay Area to the Central Valley at varies companies, along the way John made many friends. John had the biggest heart of gold, he would always put others before himself, he was very caring and passionate to everyone he met. There was no one John would ever turn away that needed help, from a family member to the less fortunate. In spring of 1984 John met Monique (Marty) Herrera in San Jose California and in the fall of 1985 they married in San Jose, six years after in 1991 they moved to Modesto. John continued to work in the Bay Area for 15 years and eventually found a job in Stockton to work closer to home, in the last 10 years he worked for 3 different companies and continued to make many friends.John was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus through the Holy Family Church.
October of 2002, was one of the happiest days of our lives, John and Monique (Marty) welcome a baby girl to the family, Reanna Rodriguez, after 18 years of marriage. Reanna was and always will be his pride and joy, there was nothing he would not do for her. She always brought the best out of him, just like all of his Nephews and Nieces.
John enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, playing video games, barbeque and spending time with his friends. John would also travel with his daughter to watch her compete in Taekwondo.
John is survived by his wife of 32 years Monique Rodriguez and daughter Reanna, brothers, Tony Rodriguez, William Rodriguez and Martin Rodriguez, sisters, Joann LaValley, Linda Maldonado, Mercy Lopez and her husband Ramon Lopez, and Anita Rodriguez and her husband Johnny Rodriguez. Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law John and Angie Herrera, Brother-In-Law Johnny Jr. and his wife Janice Herrera, Sister-In-Law Randi De La Nuez and Danielle Araiza and her husband Mark Araiza and many, many nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
John is preceded in death by his parents John Rodriguez Sr., Josie Rodriguez and oldest brother Jesse Rodriguez. John will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
