Jackie Marie Mitchell

Jackie Mitchell, 76 of Lathrop, Ca. passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on 11-9-14 after a short illness. Jackie was born in Tulare, Ca. to Joseph & Dora Trammel and was raised in Modesto, Ca. and lived in Lathrop, Ca. for 50 years.

Jackie worked at Franzia Winery in Ripon (The Wine Group) for 29 years and retired. She enjoyed camping going to the ocean and she loved to read and spend time with her family and friends.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dora Trammel, husband Frankie L. Mitchell, one son Steven Lantz and two daughters, Sandra K. Carey and Brenda L. Steeley. She is survived by by two daughters, Nancy Quigley of Turlock, Ca. and Verna Southern of Modesto, Ca. and one son Frankie Joe Mitchell of Lathrop, Ca., 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great great- grandchilden.

Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson, Ca. on Friday 11-21-2014 from 4-8 pm. The service is Saturday 11-22-14 at 11:00 am in the Riverside Chapel. Donation in memory of Jackie can be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, Ca. 95204 or
