Harold Cleve Harger

Harold Cleve Harger was born on November 20,1936 in Paris, Arkansas to parents Cleve and Galila Harmon Harger. He passed away on July 4, 2023 at the age of 86. At an early age he moved with his parents to California living in San Diego, Richmond and eventually Modesto. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1954. He married Betty Welch from Modesto on Sept. 16, 1956. They quickly started their family with Teri ('59), Sheryle ('61) and Karen ('63). He was a successful peach/almond farmer in the Modesto/Empire area for 40+ years. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing, golfing and in his retirement years traveling with close friends. Betty and he were members of the Empire Church of the Brethren and the Oakdale Golf & Country Club.

He leaves behind daughters Teri (Randy) Johnson and Sheryle Knott. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Welch Harger and his youngest daughter Karen Davis Redner. He had 8 grandchildren
