Yolanda Martinez

Yolanda graduated high school in 1976 from HTI (Houston Technical Institute). Her devoted career in Freight Forwarding began in 1979, with 19 years of dedicated and exceptional service at BDP International as a Logistics Specialist.

Yolanda was a beloved daughter, sister, Godmother and stepmother. She is preceded in death by her father Crescencio V. Martinez, Grandparents Julio and Guadalupe Fonseca, Amador and Estefania Martinez. She is survived by her mother Mary Helen Martinez, son Christopher Ryan Herrera, wife Celeste. Sisters, Eleanor Ramos, husband Richard, Dolores Martinez, Diana Borunda, husband Mario Efren, Laura Harris, husband Jerald, Victoria Fuentes, husband Henry, Mary Helen Means, husband Gary Edward and brother Armando Martinez. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, nieces and nephews, Roger Celestino Ramos, wife Lorena, Andrew Ramos, wife Sonia, Angelic Borunda, Natalie Ramos, boyfriend James, Christopher Ramirez, wife Murissa, George Olivo, Jr., girlfriend Vanessa, Albert Alan Olivo, fiancé Destiny, Gabriel Borunda, Stephanie Fuentes, partner Robert Garza, Christiana Fuentes, Garon Austin Means, Alexis Sierra Martinez, Sarah Nicole Means, and Aaden Joaquin Means. Great nieces and nephews, Nathanal Willie Ramos, Vivian Rubia Ramos, Christopher Ramirez, Jr., Koraline Emberly Olivo, Isaac Alejandro Ramos, Madelyn Jane Garza, Aliyannah Victoria Zamarron, Matthew Crescencio Olivo, and expected Baby Garza. Goddaughters Angelic Borunda and Anexa Rodriguez, the entire Herrera Family and a host of extended family, friends and co-workers.

A special thanks to many, especially her sister Diana Borunda, also known as "Mama Dee Dee", who was her caregiver and stood by her side until the very end.

Yolanda was a very loving, giving and caring person, always putting others before herself. She will be greatly missed by all.
