Willie Mitchell Gosnell, age 88 passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Born in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late Edward and Grace Gosnell, and was one of thirteen children. He was a long time resident of Houston Heights, and has resided in Tomball, Texas for the past 13 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Gosnell; 3 daughters, Jan Dunn, Marilyn Word and husband Bobby, and Gina Reese and husband Maurice; 3 sons, Michael Gosnell and wife Mary, Wendell Gosnell and wife Geralynn, and David Shannon Gosnell; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 27, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
