William Rutherford Thomas

William Rutherford Thomas was born June 11, 1983 to the proud parents Rev. Willie and Ruth Ann Thomas residing in Humble, Texas. He accepted Christ at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later attended Lakewood regularly.

William graduated from Humble High School in 2001. He later earned several audiology certifications from Houston Community College and his recording Technology Degree in Science from Prairie View A&M University. William went on to create his own music and music for various artists that will continue to be heard all over the world. His sweet spirit filled any room with love and laughter. William had a love for fashion and music but more importantly the love he had for his friends and family.

William’s life will forever be cherished in the hearts of his parents Rev. Willie and Sister Ruth Thomas. His wife Marieka Thomas and three sons, Mitchell, Mason and Maximilian Thomas; grandmother, Elnetta Thomas; godbrother, Brayln (Yolanda) Thomas, Godsister; I Knight. Also leaves his closest cousins, Cedric Gates, La Cretia and Jacobie Lewis, Shelby, Taylor, Melvin, Madison Washington, Chelsea McPhee, Joe, Kim, Aaliyah Lewis, Alexis Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Tracy, Arthur Lewis, Jr. William loved his godmother Mrs. Maria Willrich and his favorite aunt Coya Gates, Dorothy and Arthur Lewis, Sr. William also leaves a host of uncles and aunts, many cousins, and friends he made.
