William L. Selph, age 80, of Tomball, Texas passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. William was born May 19, 1941. He received his real estate license in 1977 and was the second generation of firefighters. His father and brother were fireman as well. William joined the fire department in 1962 and retired in 1988. He was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Member of Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed boating, dancing, car shows, swap meets, flipping houses and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
William is preceded in death by his father Leon "Pappy" Selph; mother Inez Selph; and brother Leon Ray Selph. He is survived by his ex wife Donna Selph; daughters Paula Heider, Rhonda Craig and Stephanie Selph; grandchildren Cheyenne Follis, Garrett Heider, Bailey Craig, Gage Craig and Gentry Selph; great grandchildren Elena Rae Heider and Haizlee Mae Heider; and sisters Pam Selph and Mary Lou Foreman.
A visitation for William will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 3:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are Mike Polson, Garrett Heider, Kyle Heider, Ted Parmer, John Woodell and Ted Lewis.
