Bill was born to Hal C. Morris and Mabel P. Morris on August 24, 1934, in Goose Creek, Texas. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and majored in journalism at University of Houston. He married Barbara Ann Long in 1957 and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised three children.
Bill is survived by: Daughter Debranne Morris Griffith and husband Steven Griffith, daughter Pamela Morris Culp, son Robert Morris and wife Carole Morris, granddaughter Katherine Culp Key and husband Connor Key, grandson Michael Culp Jr and wife Janet Culp, and grandson Sean Morris Griffith.
He was preceded in death by his father Hal C. Morris and his mother Mabel P. Morris.
Bill worked as a food service salesman for Glazier Foods Company. He enjoyed classic cars and sports, participating in the Senior Olympics until the age of 79. He was also actively involved in the HPD Annual Food Drive and the HPD Citizens Patrol.

A committal service for William will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM, at Woodlawn Funeral Home Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055.
