He was born on February 15, 1929 in Dallas, Texas to Bedford and Claudia Masters. He attended Trinity University in San Antonio and the Kansas City University of Medicine and Health Sciences. He graduated in 1957 and began his practice in Houston. Taking care of his patients was rewarding and a privilege. In March 2001 he retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Frances Masters. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beverly Masters; sons Robert, Kurt (wife Jenny), Craig (wife Debbie); and four grandsons Chad, Adam, Zack and Carson.
Bill was a member of First Methodist Church of Houston for 37 years, a lifetime Board Member, and usher.
The services for Bill will be held at Forest Park Lawndale at Chapel of Angels in the cemetery on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with a visitation at 11:00am and funeral service at 1:00pm . The Rev. Charles Thompson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Methodist Church or Houston Hospice. We thank the doctors and nurses at St. Luke’s Hospital and Houston Hospice for the care he received.
