William (Bill) Eugene Edwards, 81 of Houston, Texas passed away October 10, 2019. He was born in Brookville, Indiana on July 15, 1938. He was married to Janette Edwards on April 13, 2013. Bill was self-employed in a family moving business for over 30 years. He was an active member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church and had a passion for his Lord and Savior, family and friends and furthering the gospel through mission.
He is survived by wife Janette Edwards, daughters Kathy Edwards and Shelli (Rick) Pierce and son James Edwards, siblings: Carroll (Marie) Edwards, Faye Hicks, Thomas Edwards, Victor (Brenda) Edwards, and Donald (Becky) Edwards and sister-in-law Hiroko Edwards, along with many loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luke and Doris Edwards, wife Shirley Edwards, siblings: Dean Edwards, Kaye Witmire, Betty Enz, brother-in-law Doug Hicks, and sister-in-law Sue Edwards.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2PM, October 17, 2019, at Brookside Funeral Home with Dr. Victor Edwards officiating.
