William “Bill” Melvin Drew, born November 7, 1940, of Houston, Texas, passed away February 19, 2020, at the age of 79.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Drew, brother James Drew, and niece, Patricia Nall.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynch Drew; brother, Donald Drew; daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Everett Cochran, Denise and Toy Leach, Cydni and John Choate; son, Jamie Shepherd; Grandchildren, Jarred, Cameron & wife Cayla, and Spencer Cochran, Brooke, Maddie & Logan Leach, Luke, Micah, & Jacob & wife McKenzie Choate, Cheyenne Cooper and Elliot Shepherd; sister-in-law, Wanda Drew and nephew Joey Drew.
He attended Christ the King Catholic School, St. Thomas High School and graduated from John H. Reagan High School in 1958.
He served 6 years in the Air National Guard, from 1963 to 1969 when he received an honorable discharge.
He spent most of his career as a Piping Designer and Draftsman. He was self-taught in Computer Design and used the computer almost totally thereafter.
He loved his family dearly, and he will be greatly missed.
