William C. “Sam” Bass, Sr., age 82, passed away, Saturday, June 16, 2012. He is preceded in death by wives, Brenda, Dorothy, and Martha Jo Bass. Survived by: ex-wife, Geraldine Lemons; daughter, Karen Renee Hair; son, William C. Bass, Jr.; son, William Franklin Hair, Jr.; daughter, Donna Lynn Merimon and husband Richard K.; daughter, Angela Darlene Bass Hill and husband Jonathan; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Odom; brother, Grover Bass; numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Earthman Resthaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
