He often volunteered his services (maintenance improvements and landscaping) at each church in his walk of faith. He was selfless and tried to allow God to order his steps. He became an instrument in God’s hands and through Wilbert, God touched many others. The life of Wilbert H. Thomas, Sr., was a great example of a man that followed God, and there is no doubt his legacy followed him to Heaven. Wilbert gave God all the Glory!
Let it be known, that in his last days, Wilbert did not lose his battle with cancer, instead, he surrendered his strong will to live to God; the Author and Perfecter of his faith! 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
