Wesley L. Lewis, 91, passed away on September 15, 2013. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Houston Fire Department after 20+ years of service. Wesley was an avid sportsman and loved to garden and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by son, Robert Dean Lewis and is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, LaVerne Lewis; children, Carolyn Kelly and husband Frank, Wesley Lewis and Mary Fricke, Linda Keller and husband Bill, Berry Lewis and wife Joni, and Bradley Lewis and wife Becky. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and other family members. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven and interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
