Dear Papa,

I remember that you brought me to church every Sunday and encouraged me to go to choir and fellowship.  When I was thirteen years old one evening, both of us got on a bus and we went to an evangelical meeting at church,  I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior that night.  You taught me to trust, obey, and honor God.  Your strong faith in the Lord Jesus set a good example for me.  Thank you for introducing Jesus Christ to me--this is the best gift that you gave me.

Papa, thank you for being the umbrella to protect me, encourage me and guide me with love.  Without your guidance I would not be who I am today.  You demonstrated that I need to do my best no matter the circumstances.  You always tough me to do the right thing.  You also taught me to save for rainy days.  You sacrificed for me without complaint.  Your worked hard endlessly.  You were an excellent role model for me.

I remember we had dinner together as a family everyday and you always led the prayer.  You taught us give thanks to the Lord for what He provided to us and to share with what we have with our family to create strong family bonds.
 
Papa, I miss you.  I believe the Lord Jesus and all your friends and relatives are welcoming you.  You are in the best place.  Bye for now--we will meet again in heaven.  I love you!!!

Grandpa was a man who exemplified what it looked like to follow and put faith in Jesus. Many great memories were made during my childhood years at his home sharing life together. He always looked after me with kindness, care, and love in every activity we did or meal we shared.

Grandpa, I thank you for blessing our family with the opportunities we have today. Despite humble beginnings, it is because of your great leadership, love for your family, and faith in God that we get to reap the rewards of your hard work and guidance, with hope and promise for a bright future in America. Thank you for being a Godly role model and a loving grandpa. I hope you are having fun in heaven. One day my time on Earth will come to an end as well, so I will see you soon grandpa.

I remember playing Chinese chess and Chinese checkers with you, helping you in the vegetable garden, and watching you write calligraphy.  Those were good times.

Our family would not be where it is today without your love and sacrifice.  I love you and miss you.  Thank you and congratulations on a successful life.
