Wayne Thomas was born March 25, 1940 in Rockwood, Tennessee. He was the 9th child born to Virgil Reece Thomas and Mae Miller Thomas, Wayne was married to Jessie Maddox Thomas, who passed away 02/28/2005. He was employed by Yellow Freight for many years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He also worked for the National Linen and Mobil Mini. Wayne served in the US ARMY. He is survived by three step-children, Carol Worley, Randall G. Whaley, Alan D. Whaley. Five Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. Wayne never met a stranger. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all. Viewing will be from 1PM to 3PM, 07/12/2022. Funeral services start at 3PM 07/12/2022.
