Virginia Jo Brown, affectionately known as Ginger, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024, in Cypress, Texas, at the age of 78. Born on September 19, 1946, in Houston, Texas, she was the beloved sister to Elaine Sue Timme and Hank Timme. She was the daughter of Gloria Audry Timme and Henry James Timme.
Virginia graduated from Aldine Senior High School in 1966, marking the beginning of a life filled with love, family, and faith. In 1970, she married William Rolan Marlow, with whom she had two sons, William Rolan Marlow Jr., known as Duke, and Clint Ray Marlow. Virginia was predeceased by her husband Rolan in 1991 and her son Clint in 2014. She later found love again with James V. Brown, whom she married, but was widowed once more in 2010.
Ginger was cherished for her exceptional cooking, her unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus, and her boundless kindness and generosity. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a legacy of love and devotion to family and friends.
She is survived by her sister Elaine Philpot, and her brother Hank Timme. Her son Duke, Daughter-in-law Yvonne, grandchildren Jessica Taylor, Emma Grace, and William Tucker. She is also survived by her stepson Jammie Brown and his wife Cindy and grandchildren, Heather Holly, and Hailey. She is also survived by stepdaughter Robin and Jeff Harvell. Virginia's life was a testament to her deep love for her family and her enduring faith, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we remember Virginia, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited in heaven with her parents, her husbands, and her beloved son Clint. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, and her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
