Vincent G Gonzales

Vincent was born March 13, 1920 in Galveston, Texas to Valente and Bertha Gonzales. He served our country proudly with the US Army Air Corps 4100th Unit in Italy during WWII. He was honorably discharged on January 7, 1946 with the rank of Corporal.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; children: Arnold and wife Sue Gonzales, Linda and husband, Mike Williams, Cynthia and husband, Mark Heater and Vincent Gonzales, Jr; step-children: Armando and wife Rachel Vasquez, Robert and Stella Vasquez, and Teresa's children, Mario, Monico , Juan, Julio, Marivel, Magdelena, and Janice, sisters: Mary and husband Gabriel Lozano, Virginia and Nino Lozano and brother, Manuel Gonzales; loving grand-children, great grand-children and great-great grandchildren. He will join his mother and father in Heaven along with his brothers and sisters, Margaret, John, Robert, Dan, Valente, Jesse, Carmen and Patsy.

His smile and generosity was his trademark throughout life and will serve as his lasting legacy to all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2011 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2011 with Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
