Vilma Eugenia Paniagua

Vilma earned her bachelor’s degree before embarking on a successful career as an accountant. She cherished her time and work in the office. She was also a dedicated member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Beyond her professional life, Vilma embraced a vibrant social life and held a deep love for her home country of Guatemala.

Vilma is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edgar Arturo Perez; her parents, Pedro Paniagua and Natalia Eugenia Garcia; her son, Luis Pedro Perez; and her brothers, Nelson Paniagua and Enio Paniagua.

Those left to remember Vilma fondly are her daughter, Astrid Trujillo; her step-son, Edgar Enrique Perez; her brother, Edwin Paniagua; and her beloved grandchildren, Kyra Leilani Trujillo, Khaleesi Aria Trujillo, Arkham Severus Trujillo, and Diego David Perez Menendez.

The family would like to give special thanks to those who cared for Vilma recently, especially Devotion Hospice, Nurse Pam, and Nurse Aide Ida.

A visitation for Vilma will be held Monday, December 16, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070, followed by a funeral mass from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM.
